So My work Summer is pretty much done,,, I had to end it early since my Father had to have a Bypass surgery and I'm nursing him back to 100%

Anyhow, I finally got to pick up Forza 4 and have been Loving it,, Especially the Rivals mode !

I have been bumping off a few my fellow Sim Hq friend's times too.

Any of you guys still playing this much ?

i dunno, i was on the other day, but I think my Harddisk in my Xbox is going (120GB Drive),

as I was constantly getting "unreadable Disk Errors" on games I know I had copied to the HDD, plus issues with my save games not loading and I resolved it with most of the games by deleting the Game Image from the HDD forcing it to run from the DVD, FM4 is a bit more complicated

Even if I Bought a New Drive, I'd have to spend hours re-downloading everything and making sure it works.

Also think the PSU is going as the Fan is making an horrid grinding noise, I may blow the $299 and just buy a Xbox 360 S w/ HDD and Games (FM4) so my brother can play Fm4 on his own system..


If i can get away with formatting my Seagate 250GB USB2.0 Drive to a big enough partition, I'll prolly do that, and Move my FM4 Stuff to that drive, but I think the limit is still 20 GB for USB Storage.

i do hot laps and an occasional rival race, but thou FM4 is a great, much improved game... iRacing has spoiled me.

thats the last thing i need to get for my monster PC is a Decent wheel.

Originally i wanted a wheel that would work on both Xbox and PC, but Now I dont care, so I may get a G25 in the coming months.

I haven't played in a few months now. Buying a new PC in June has caused my 360 and PS3 to gather a bit of dust... Have been playing a bit of Madden 13, but I'm not sure how much I really like it.

The Fanatec Clubsport 4 series looks pretty dope though./

The Fanatec GT2 wheel beta firmware update to work with PCARS messed up my XBOX360 mode so I haven't been playing but I will soon be getting back to it.

that's my dilemma, my Xbox is old... i should get a new one, but i also need a decent wheel, as my MSWireless FFB wheel is so modified its a 2 hour maintenance session after ever 6 hours of racing.

Yeah I'm still rocking My Day one Xbox ! LOL Its been repaired once by MS.

I need to make a stand to put my wheel on,, I have just been using a controller to sneak in Some hot laps and a rivals.

Anyone ever make a decent DIY stand for their wheel?

I'm still playing Forza 2 ! I tend to skip editions with driving games and went with Shift 2 rather than Forza 3. I was hoping that a GOTY F4 edition might come out which would save me some D/L grief.

I use bonnet view in Forza and I like the AI cars in this game. I came around a corner in a race to find that a number of cars had piled up and I was able to skirt around them. I've raced past AI cars with damaged smoking engines and had bumping knocks with other AI cars which have usually been 50/50 in cause.

In Shift 2 I love the in car view and the sheer grittiness of the cars and the feel of the racing. However the AI cars are evil and seem to take me out of the race with a slight nudge, then I'm unable to catch back up to them. It wouldn't be so bad if I could nudge them, but if I try I always seem to come of worse than the AI car. I've taken to just trying to gain a podium place, rather than going for the win.

i still play FM3/FM2 and FM1 too

I've been waiting on Forza 4, but look at this:

Forza 3 came out Oct 2009.
Forza 3 Ultimate came out Nov 2010 with most of the DLC included for less than F3's release price.

Forza 4 came out Oct 2011.
Guess what I'm hoping to come out Nov 2012?

I never bought any DLC for F3, but I got the Ultimate version of F2 with all the DLC, so I'm hoping for F4 to have the same thing. I'm guessing the Porsche DLC won't be included, but that's ok. I just want MOST of it so I can just get the couple not included instead of looking for all that stuff.

Well, Last Night I Accompliseh the Hardest thing I have every Done in a Forza Game !!
Rivals Mode, Time attack with TRAFFIC ! On Nurburgring Nordschleife

I accomplished a Clean Run , Top 2000 time , with a Controller !
Ugg,, Talk about Brutal !!!
For some reason , You just cant help from trying to pass when you know you shouldnt,, and Damn is it hard to drive 80 mph waiting for your shot to pass !
It was Very tough to do..

Still it made me Love Forza 4 even more,, Something about Driving 80 - 100 waiting on that spot to pass clean.
Then Feeling the Power of the car. Plus Driving it clean really makes you appreciate a cars Braking ability.


For those that don't get the brutality of this,, you can't bump any other car,, nor can you go off the track !


Still, I wanted to Dance around the house after I accomplished this .. It was Very rewarding to say the least.
I'm also Sure I will be doing it more often to decrease my time.

Congrats Desode, that is definitely a very satisfying accomplishment, I will check out that event next time I am on, I think I remember trying it and the part about avoiding contact with the AI being the hardest part, but since that is my favorite track it should be a fun event.

i cant never get a clean time, because of the drafting.
