I have the Asus P7H55-M Pro motherboard and I am looking to change my graphics card, and the economy should allow a Nvidia GeForce 660 TI card, but that is a PCIe 3.0 card not a 2.0 as my motherboard, does anyone know if the card is backwards compatible?
The card I am looking at


(Side note: Present Graphics driver ATI Radeon 5770 so the upgrade is very needed)

its PCIe 2.0 Compatible.

that card, even overclocked wouldn't reach the max bandwidth of an 8x PCIe2.0 lane, let alone a PCIe3.0 16x lane.

you're safe. PCI 3.0 is a Gimmick Right now.
