Just thought I'd throw out a plug for what was, IMO, a very underrated series. Was once called "...the greatest show on TV that nobody is watching". Actually went back to Austin to tour around a bit and see some of the cool locations used, it's now one of my favourite cities to vacation in. ...might just be the BBQ high from The Salt Lick hasn't worn off yet
Cheers!

Series was awesome and I saw every episode. If someone is considering picking up the entire series on DVD, I can recommend it highly. Even the series finale was very satisfying. No Spoilers.

This show is a masterpiece (with the exception of a few aspects of Season 2). One of the best ever made.

PS- There's going to be a movie (of the TV based on a movie, in case that's not confusing enough). I thought the ending was perfect, so while I'm psyched to see more Eric and Tammy Taylor (and Tim Riggins, etc), I'm not sure it's really necessary, and I hope it meets the standards set by the show.
Speaking of movies based on shows, does anyone know anything about the Arrested Development movie/new season?

Yeah +1 for the AD movie.
One of the biggest stars of FNL was the soundtrack, the songs chosen really accentuated the mood of the scenes without crossing the line into glorified music video territory. I actually downloaded a lot of music from the show, stuff I probably never would have discovered, let alone listened to.
Cheers!

Seen them live and they were extraordinary. They did the soundtrack for the movie and it's their music that the composer for the show emulates.
