Thanks for your reply Pat.
"I have rainy days in the campaign, but they are rare. I got a bad weather/overcast/low ceiling mission just a couple of days ago in testing. They certainly flew in less than ideal conditions, but there were limits. If it was really coming down or they were completely socked in, they didn't fly. Not much to be done in a WWI crate in pouring rain with limited visibility other than kill yourself. Recon, Arty spot, bomb, balloon - can't see so why fly? No targets in the air no need for scouts.
I also don't like the way RoF (or any combat flight sim that I have ever played) plays out in bad weather. Get into a cloud - zero visibility - but the AI sees just fine. Mostly I prefer to model bad weather days as non-flying days."
I agree with you about bad weather = don't fly. But of course, there is bad weather and bad weather! Real bad weather = don't fly, but some bad weather can be flyed! (Some English WW1 pilots were known for flying in bad weather imo)
On side note, AIs aren't seeing through clouds anymore. Made many tests when chased by AI ennemy. 2 seaters can easily and safely hide in overcast to avoid any bad encounters. Once was chased by 3 opponents, i quickly climbed 100m to hide in overcast, i could hear them but they didn't fired me nor followed, and i lost them pretty fast... But i agree under overcast, in rain with poor visi (for player), AI are still seeing very very well!
Anyway, it's up to you to decide for bad weather! I still believe few bad weathers days flying can be immersive with our beautiful ROF rain drop on googles, but maybe not that much as B career...

Copy of a post I just made on the official RoF forum : Made a test mission, and noticed that the whole set of waypoints is offset on the map UI. Herunder you can see that the takeoff/land waypoints are offset from the airfield of Beauzé sur Aire. The rest of the path being offset by the same relative distance and heading, this is why we see that patrol paths are on our side of the lines for instance. Once on the RoF game map, the waypoints are fine and at the right place. As I have several "dead" careers still saved, I generated missions for different pilots at different places and every time the takeoff/land waypoint is offset to roughly North of where it should be by about 1 square difference. Otherwise ran the mission "Mods on" without any problem (besides the 4 Albatros DIII who tried to jump my Spad VII...lol)

I've done that and I get the same offset 330° from the airfield. I have posted pics on the original RoF Forum thread. Anyway as said there this is not stopping the show as on the in-game map the waypoints are at the right place.

Corsaire: 777 was kind enough to provide me with a map that scales really well. It will be in 11.1. Great news Pat.
