some qouestion is my minde some problem with sa-2E + RWR radar hi guys.... right now i was trying sa-2E and sa-3 goa in first scenario in line break II.... i have no problem with sa-3! c-125 has realy good handle but when i lock in jamer target like phantom f-4! with sa-2E i cant hit them! i see my 3daar and i seen when my missile launched target diving to earth and at that moment my sa-2e missile missed! why? because sa-2E cant cover any target under 100m? this qouestion is different and i intersting why one fighter armed with RWR radar and when i launch missile he know it and going down for run from my missile but why any sam system do not armed with kinde of RWR radar when one fighter launch harm or arm or shrike i understand at that moment one anti-radiation missile come to me! why?

Which guidance mode do you use? UPR, K or TT? this qouestion is different and i intersting why one fighter armed with RWR radar and when i launch missile he know it and going down for run from my missile but why any sam system do not armed with kinde of RWR radar when one fighter launch harm or arm or shrike i understand at that moment one anti-radiation missile come to me! why? Because HARM, Shrike or any other anti-radiation missiles has passive radar homing. They do not emit anything, and therefore, it is impossible to detect them in passive mode, like RWR do. It is possible, in theory, to develop a radar that will be able to detect these missiles, but this will emit in microwave band and therefore will easily become the target for HARMs itself.

for jamer target usualy t/t mode used! and i set altitude of target by manual ... but when target diving to the earth and missile missed or crash...! about passive radar homing .....! i have not any info about this giudance method! but i realy impresive after pass around more than 30 years no sam system can't delevope RWR radar for detect any anti-radiation launched missile

Yes, S-75 has serious difficulties engaging targets that use a dive to low altitude as evasive maneuver. The K mode gives much better chance than TT, though. And set the fuse to either NLC mode (against low-alt. targets) or detonation from K3 mode. This won't give you 100% probability, but will greatly increase your chances. about passive radar homing .....! i have not any info about this giudance method! but i realy impresive after pass around more than 30 years no sam system can't delevope RWR radar for detect any anti-radiation launched missile
I guess that modern, high-performance target acquisition radars, such as those used with S-300, Buk or similar systems, will have no problem detecting anti-radiation missiles. Actually, the P-14 radar in the sim clearly detects HARMs at ranges long enough to avoid them by switching your transmitter off. In several cases I even managed to acqure that HARM and shoot it down with S-200.

Another try at two targets: The first one is destroyed correctly. After acquisition of the second one, no missiles was actually show, only marks at the lower edge of the screen as it was mention by I think Lonewolf. I changed launcher to PU2 and fired again. Both missiles hit the target.... Asuluk training ground.
