Back to Tu-154 yet :-)

I have been given two interesting links by user halmiso (he also sends greeting to Hpasp :-)) at forum.fortifikace.net (czech army forum).

The first one:
http://forum.guns.ru/forummessage/73/115686-50.html
firs on 15.8.2001 at 1:50

The second one:
zn.ua/POLITICS/tu-154__sekretnaya_hronika_pozora-36645.html

To me it is still unclear, because I have seen the launch photo - they fired at a close target, so missile should fly with program I (near target).

But it doesn't change the speed does it? Probably the way google earth calculated the speed creates this error...

Why it is not shared yet, soldier?!? wink

The KRUG low altitude bug is found, the correction will be in the next version.

That photo is made during IFF check, not during launch.

This is great! thumbsup

I even started to analyze missile path near launcher against different altitude targets due this issue.

edit; does Krug practice mode “FK” work? If so, then how to use it?

As missile is getting to the vicinity of its target, commands are sent with a higher frequency - at the beginning it is quite a flat curve, then the peaks get denser and denser.

No. Google Earth displays the graph with the wrong 'scale' values displayed - nowt to do with SAMSIM - look at the point value of speed, and compare to the range of values on the graph's scale - usually a large discrepancy. Bug posted ages ago on their bug tracker, no reply, comment or action since that I am aware of.

"The Launch Photo"? or "A launch photo"?

The launch photo.
But I was mislead by Hpasp's expression - they even have a launch photo. But it was only a NRZ (IFF) photo. Also clarified by Hpasp

Hi,
in the documents about the case, there were some statement about imposibility of S-200 to hit at all (angle of approach, radiofuse and so on - this ukrainian kills me...
I don't get what in the first link should see about?

User firs at given date and time :-) s-200 theory is also suspicious to me. But we obviously have too little information :-(

There is a so called "weight maneuvering limitation" for each missile type.
While it is available for the Volhov/Dvina/Neva missiles from firing range materials, with the KRUG it was just approximated. (wrongly)

Bug in the Google Earth software.

SAMSIM only sends coordinates and timestamps.

Google is calculating the speed from these...
biggrin

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and a newly french fan of this simulator.

As there was no page on Facebook about this simulator, I've just created one, it's called "SAM Simulator".
Fell free to come in and add some news there!

Thanks!
