So, apparenlty I got up in the middle of the night a few days ago and bought a bunch of stuff at the RoF website.

I have been trying to not purchase as many add-ons, videogames, etc.. in the recent months so I can put away a little more for retirement when I'm 108. So, to combat this, I have been waking up late at night/early morning when I don't have use of all my senses/faculties and buying things I would not normally buy when I am in mature adult mode. Woke up a day or so ago and noticed I spent about $45 at the RoF store. Picked up a bunch of add-ons I have been eyeing, all on sale.

Win.

Well played, me. Well played.

YEAH!!! Slip the surly bonds of so called 'fiscal responsibility', and sensible adult behaviour be damned. Commit such tiresome drudgery to the flames, for only by randomly spending money on sim goodness in the 'witching hour' can a Man truly be free. yep Your money was crying out for liberation anyways, begging you to release it from its dank, oppressive, high interest rate account prison. You heeded its anguished cries. Bravo, you,.....for doing the right thing.

Long may your inspired nocturnal sim shopping sprees continue, my friend.....and you should rightfully have a sense of pride in this great achievement. Well played, Sir. Well played, indeed.

biggrin

Gotta admit that I slid in a $35 purchase myself. Fleshed out the stable and pre-ordered the sea planes. Forgot to get the map though ... seaplanes aren't going to do much good without the sea.

Wishing I was in the La Cloche
I dunno Pat, there is that lake just to the northwest of Reims, and all those lovely canals, many with long straight stretches...

You sir, are an inspiration to me! I tried your advanced technique and added 2 large glasses of red wine by means of an experiment. I found myself $60 lighter the following morning, having treated myself to a new campaign and many, many new planes to add to my Iron Cross edition!

Still, it was a balance I had saved in Paypal so it's not like it was real money!
