Apparently the Steam version of the patch is borked!
I bought from GamersGate and it sorted all my problems out so I'm happy but I bet 90% of the player base are on Steam so it may be a bit quiet on MP.

Just checked my game after the patch (from steam)battle eye installed but the game version is still 1.02

Downloading it now, though its on steam so probably not much point lol. Hopefully they will sort it quick enough, not that arsed though personally as theres plenty more to play in the meantime. I can understand others being griefed though. @Master, have you actually played IFL with the new patch and do you still think that way? (assuming its a non steam version). I understand your views on mods, I'm just wondering about the new patch specifically and whether it is a good one. Have to admit despite the problems I've had loads of fun with IF.....but that may way well be the 'novelty value' as I am new to this genre of game. Maybe the Arma vet people are more sceptical and jaded lol ( I downloaded Arma2 CO and like that too, modded. Mainly to play the previous WWII mod though. ). Wish modders could make an ACE 2 type mod for IF, that would be great. Apparently not at present? Just downloaded on Steam.... Iron Front Version 1.033 Version 1.620000 Which is the right patch I think? Off to check it out now.

Yeah it's sorted the morphing trees out and feels a lot more solid overall too.

Yeah it's sorted the morphing trees out and feels a lot more solid overall too. Aye, I can confirm that Mace, looks good enough my end too and Tree problems are fixed. Did quick checks in saved missions of known bugs and things I know are almost guaranteed to cause a crash on my end, they no longer do which is positive. Also, a bug where textures were not loading for walls and buildings at the start of mission in some areas of certain maps ('white' blank walls which eventually get filled with detail) no longer a problem. Tried the two new weapons.....and getting on the back of a tank no longer seems to cause crashes (almost guaranteed before). False Footsteps sounds is fixed. Will probably restart one of the campaigns tomorrow and try some MP. Seemed to be quite a few on tonight when I checked before, glad that anti cheat is now on but have no idea how effective it is. Is it? Overall after 45 mins, looks a solid enough patch thus far, good performance and quite pleased. Will report back with any other findings.

Seems good to me so far. I am still getting some stuttering for tank engine noises, but that's about the only problem I've run across thus far.

Steam version here. It was pretty stable for me with version 1.02 (few CTDs etc), now since v1.033 I'm getting frequent lock-ups and CTDs (multiplayer). Which is a huge shame because the game is simply superb.

Not got Steam version, but this patch has now enabled me to finally play the game. Actually get through training with no crashes - thought the truck driving control is still complete tosh Can't say it's very inspiring, mind - looks like a MP only game if it is to be enjoyed.
I say it as I see it

Yeah it's sorted the morphing trees out and feels a lot more solid overall too. Unfortunately not for everyone, my trees are still as ugly as sin and morphing all over the place. I don't really understand why as I have a HD7950 3gb graphics card.
