Dear ROF Pilots, You are invited to join me on Sunday, July 1, 2012 beginning at 12:00AM Pacific Time as I fly 18 HOURS TO VICTORY! In celebration of ROF's 3rd Anniversary and the triumphant release of version 1.026 I will attempt a marathon flight-simming session and fly ROF online for 18 straight hours straight (minus bathroom and snack breaks). I never get enough stick time online with the community due to work and beta testing, so I figured this weekend would be a great time to go for the gold! I will be on the ROF Teamspeak server all day Sunday cruising the skies of all the fun ROF multiplay servers. It will be a blast. Let's practice some teamwork and put ROF MP through it's paces! So, grab a wingy and let's have some fun. You don't need to be outside in the sunshine this Sunday, picnics are overrated, you need to be indoors playing ROF with me. See you on the skies this Sunday! Jason P.S. I shoot to kill. P.S.S. Here is a list of time zones at the start of the event. UTC/GMT/Zulu - 07:00 hours Sun. Los Angeles - 12:00am Sun. Chicago - 2:00am Sun. New York - 3:00am Sun. Rio de Janeiro - 4:00am Sun. London - 8:00am Sun. Paris/Rome/Berlin/Prague - 9:00am Sun. Moscow - 11:00am Sun. Tokyo - 4:00pm Sun. Sydney - 5:00pm Sun.

LOL you nutter you! Sounds like fun! I know at the kick off I'll be sound asleep at 3am my time but may try to find you after I get up and before I head outside, no, not for a bloody picnic but to do lots of yard work! No rest for the wicked I'm afraid...

It's been a while since I fired up RoF mp, but it would be quite rude not to show some support for all the terrific work you've done with RoF, so count me in! I'll see you at 12am PST on Sunday (actually, since I'm in Hawaii, It'll be Saturday night 9pm for me...just will need to keep the wife busy See you then Jason! Broadside

Thanks so much for your efforts in that regard - and, of course, for producing and continuously improving this great sim. This! Enjoyed flying with you Jason! Thank you for the best flight sim in existence, and for the continued development (it's like getting a new sim XPac every few months!)! Broadside

ROF MP has never been better with the latest changes and Field Mods. The extra weight and drag really shows why some of these mods were not adopted, but some are outstanding. Yup I totally agree. On a related note, will we ever see some sort of weight / payload indicator on the plane setup screen? I know you guys have provided alot of the weight figures for the planes and mods within the game, but I'd like to see a real-time readout of the plane's weight and payload that changes as you add fuel, bombs and weapons just to give you a quick idea of how much you can practically fly with. This could also include a real-time endurance indicator as well that shows you how many approximate flight hours you can expect with the current fuel load. It'd be a great addition, I hope we do see something like it.

Hmm, I checekd few times during the 18hr period (clicked on multiplayer in main menu), but all I saw was 2 servers (1UK and 1US) with only 1 player online each. Did I do something wrong? I even disconnected the router thinking I'm not seeing all the servers . I'd like to play ROF multiplay more often but lack of servers/players seems to be a problem for me.

I suspect you had your MODS ON box checked. ...doing that will only show those servers who also are running "Mods On". Uncheck that box and give it another go. You should be seeing a full list of servers.
