Looks great, but as I don't own any type of console I'll just have to look at the pics, lol!

The size and quality of the screen can make a different. I recently saw assassin's creed on a 42" LED screen and it looked way better than on a 22" screen. So the bigger the screen the less jaggies you can notice and you can play farther away from the screen. Besides it is possible to adjust the sharpness effect on most of the modern TVs.

Good point jt_medina, I've definitely noticed the same, console lack of AA really becomes apparent on a 1920x1080 monitor compared to my TV.

Also according to "the google", the Xbox 360 version of cowboy game Red Dead Redemption runs at 720p, while the PS3 version runs at 640p.

+1 to this. If anyone or anything is moving around or talking in the same room as me while I'm gaming, I get very distracted and a little aggravated. Especially with something with story and/or cinematics.

I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

Yeah my "computer desk" has my PC + XB360 + PS3 all plugged into a HDMI switch to the same monitor and with the sound output of the XB360 and PS3 going into line-in on my PC :-)

The consoles only get moved to the living room temporarily if I have some mindless game to show the family.

Also turn in-game saturation up. Really makes the game world even more colorful and pop. Though I hate zombie crap, I got the Undead expansion just so I could have more story with Marston and the voice acting.

Can only repeat what has already been said before: one of the best games I’ve played- ever! It’s a shame Rockstar didn’t port it to PC.

I however belong to the group of players that really disliked the ending. In fact, the game has two endings to me.
Click to reveal..
The first where Marston returns to his ranch. And the second one with Marston’s final confrontation and the open end that follows.

I have chosen to only accept the first ending as a worthy end for the story (the game is an open world game after all). The second one was a huge disappointment not only to me. I’m just glad that I had saved the game close to the second ending, so that’s where I’ve picked the game up again. Still a lot of stuff to do. And then again, only just roaming feels so fantastic in this game.

I love RDR. One of my favourite games of all time, and IMO the greatest open-world game ever created. I might have to play through it again smile

This is one 3rd person game I'd make an exception for, it looks so good. Too bad no PC version

I bought a PS3 just for this game. It was so worth it. Probably the best adventure/sandbox game I've ever played.

There will be a sequel... but I am surprised there was never a PC version.

I'd buy it but I don't own and probably never will own a console.

It would be nice if the next one let you switch from 3rd person to 1st like Skyrim. Sometimes it would be nice to get a closer look, and having the option to look down the gun like that would be nice sometimes.

Really nice shots.

I'm playing LA Nior and the detail in that game is amazing as well, too bad I can not capture pics from the xbox. A LA Nior revival would be interesting

I will echo what others have said, RDR is one of my favorite games of all time. I would be all over a RDR 2 or a non-zombie expansion. The multiplayer is pretty fun too if you are able to play with friends.

I actually bought an XBox just to play this game.

Haven't touched my console in over a year since other XBox games simply hold little interest for me.

I'm now really tempted to start RDR over again.
