The one with the question about naming 4 heavy metals and providing their symbol is hilarious.

Near the end of the pages is two drawings together. The male and female reproductive systems side by side....well sort of. I sat at my desk at work and literally laughed out loud.

The "Ninja of Protection" safeguarding his answer was amusing....hehehe. I like his style. None shall pass! hahaha

I can see why they answer some of the questions this way though, as I have done it myself as a kid! Some of the mind numbingly inane sh*t they interrogate you about beggars belief.....even at the age of 10 I can clearly recall thinking "F*cking what? You've got to be taking the p*ss" (Too young to be swearing, thinks the cynic? Geordies are not just born swearing, we are prodigiously profane in utero, too! Not unlike Aussies in that respect.) hahaha

I remember there was controversial subject which was made compulsory called "General Studies".....which was so apocalyptically, offensively pointless and devoid of all reason or utility I refused point blank to answer a single question seriously; treating the entire test paper with the utter, risible contempt it deserved. Apparently, the answers I wrote in my scathingly bitter broadside had the entire Teaching staff of the school in paroxysms of laughter, (they told my mother at a PTA meeting) and they photocopied the paper and circulated it around the staff rooms of the North Tyneside school system.

Turns out later that many of the staff actually agreed with what I had wrote. Never underestimate kids. They know more than you may think, and can be incredibly perceptive at times, especially when so gloriously unfettered by the inconvenient shackles of Social mores and tact. Not one single f*ck was given that day. hahaha I remember it well. Oh to be so free again. smile

As a teacher, I've seen a lot. Some of these are funny, but I have seen stuff on tests that would make your hair stand on end.

I'm sure. Thing is, when I was reading most of these, I wasn't thinking the kid was stupid or anything like that, I was thinking they were really sharp, and just yanking the teacher's chain.

Some were sad, of course, but most seemed like kids who were way ahead on the curve. I mean, I was one of the biggest smartasses in the school, always looking for a way to get a laugh.

And now I am a MEMBER of SimHQ.com, so that just goes to show that I was on the right track, all along! wink

That one was educating... the "Lone Wolf" also got high marks.

Some really clever people doing this.

Several of those are brilliant. thumbsup
Now I wish I would have done something like those kids instead of just going to the teacher and handing back the test and telling him I didn't want to waste the paper.
