I am trying to learn to land well. But when I come in with landing flaps the word LANDING FLAPS covers over the Power %. The results are that it makes it difficult to be consistent with the Power %. Any trick to changing this?

Just move power a bit and it should overwrite the flaps message.

Are you using a throttle quadrant? I mostly do it by feel and only occasionally look at the % or rpm for landings anymore.
