...And I still can't find the main point of this purchase... the cold start procedure. BTW folks you can't shoot anything down. Just clickable buttons much like JF-18.

Dude why are you asking the questions here? Get over to VRS and get on the forums and search around a bit -- if you still need help, they will help you patched up and squared away. Good product and good support IMHO.

USN/USMC -- when it positively, absolutely has to be blown up overnight.

Fantastic but rather trivial addon in terms of its "military capability". I recommend it simply because of the cool factor but if it's blowing things up that you want, get DCS. VRS pls AI Carriers makes for some FSX fun that the default FSX hornet and carrier just can't deliver on.

As far as FSUIPC and cold starts.... The freebie FSUIPC has worked in this regard for me. The paid version is unnecessary.

Tac Pac... Don't hold your breath. 1+ year late and no sighn of imminent release.

Duncan, your announcement (BTW folks, you can't shoot anything down) about the VRS F-18 not being able to blow things up, (which we've all known for years) and then asking if DCS has any jets, causes me to wonder what planet you just flew in from.
