Don't forget that SHILKA is still in service... And if Hungarian army decided to use it in the future = stopping the project... very well ! dear pistion said shilka is stiill in servis ! so this is very good reason to cancel shillka because we respect to any system in servis this from this Please name a situation Hpasp, why you deny us the Shilka, most aricraft fly higher than shilka's maximum shooting altitude except when they are landing. Also arkhangelask, remember that the SA-6 is continually receiving upgrades and will be in the Air Defence forces for a long time, only expansion opportunities are really in American SAMS, specifically the MIM-114. My guess is also that the SA-8 is secret as well. jazjar ... hey man... u bring me down of my dream because i thinked sa-6 could be add in sim around maybe 2013 or 14 ! and this from this too my result : so guys please dont speak around develop new russian system im not sure but i dont know after nike hercules what we have at future! mayhap patriot as a game !
please calm down evry body i choose sa-2 this is very cool system

It may be a bit difficult to paste the link, since the forum doesn't support the Cyrillic script and the movie is Soviet (1964), but I'll try anyway.

I think this is a seeker and guidance section of a Russian anti radiation missile. Yes, its a passive seeker for Kh-31 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kh-31

guys.. do u know about this warhead picture !? i mean that 6 green ball's! thats a fregments? i think thats green ball no looks like a fregment ! whats that? Monopulse guidance head of a (Russian) Anti Radiation Missile. The ARM guidance head is usually based on monopulse method (same as used with the KRUG system [YOU SHOULD KNOW IT ALREADY!!!]), as the targeted SAM system can be switched off at any moment. Here is the guidance head of (our best friend ) the AGM-88 HARM missile... ... it has four spiral antenna, with offset center. Each of the wideband spiral antenna has offset center, so they can precisely locate any SINGLE incoming radio impulse. Russians use less effective method of bigger shifted and smaller (less sensitive) spiral antenna design...

yes yes... that is a 7 elements... my mistake.. tnx for answer me dear lieste and dear vympler also tnx mr.hpaspi like that your word our best firend ! means AGM 88 ... I count 7 passive elements, rather than 6.
This is the guidance section, the warhead is in the next section aft, the missile propulsion configuration is solid fuel booster and four sustainer ramjets.

The ARM guidance head is usually based on monopulse method (same as used with the KRUG system [YOU SHOULD KNOW IT ALREADY!!!]), as the targeted SAM system can be switched off at any moment. In fact most if not all modern radar guided missiles use a monopulse antenna design. Let's see if someone starts building AESA-radared missiles ... Thanks for the pic BTW, I had not seen that antenna before.
