Two great repaints from Thomas Weiss for DCS Mustang.
He really nailed the shinny aluminum!

Mr. Weiss is an artist!

btw, your first pic took me back to a plastic model I built when I was a kid. Thanks for that!

Funny you said that, because it reminded me of a COX gas powered toy plane I had as a kid. You know those planes you swing around on a string.

I don't know why the fact that the pilot is wearing that modern helmet, bothers me so much....but it does. Still, great skins. The DCS site says that the full release will have more features. I'm hoping that an AI opponant and WW2 flight gear for that pilot is amongst them.

This is proof No.62531 that Cliffs of Dover engine needs two more years of work to catch up with 2003 ones (updated on the way, I know)

all I need are DCS Bf-109G, FW-190D and some Yanks and Jerry bombers... for starters yep

What a gorgeous aircraft. It's my favourite WW2 plane along with the Mk. V Spit. Both those skins are beautiful.

Would love to see Tom to a Korean war skin.

This game is showing so much promise.

Spain,
Nice shots, is the sim as good as it looks? I must admit that it is the next one of my list, just with xplane x. I know, I know... I have to choose one, but....which one?

Oh man, memories. I flew - and crashed - a P-51, a Stuka and a Corsair.

Oh, that does bring back memories!
I had the Mustang and a PT-17 trainer a P-40 and my brother had the Stuka (which crashed). They were lots of fun. To think we use to fly them in the school yard full of kids! I wonder how I didnt hit anyone in the head with it!
I only stopped playing with these when I got into model rockets later on. (another addicting kids hobby.)
