Just finished Oppenheimer. Wow. Totally mesmerising. Murphy totally deserved his awards.

The second time is even better. I watched it twice already and plan to watch it again.

Damsel (2024)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13452446/

It wasn't bad. 3 stars/5 stars

This had a $70 million budget. Did the CGI dragon cost that much?

Millie Bobby Brown of Netflix Stranger Things is Netflix's hottest property right now.

Netflix must be using her for every dollar they can get make out of her.

"For All Mankind" sounds like a hidden gem! It's always exciting to discover underrated shows. Your plan to see Dune at the world's largest THX cinema in Oslo sounds incredible—those kind of experiences make movies even more memorable.

huh?

A guy walks into a bar and hears two women speaking in a British accent. He asks, "Are you ladies from England?" One says to him "No, it's Wales, you idiot!" So, then the guy says, "Okay, sorry. So, are you two whales from England?"

There have been a few like that recently but I didn't see any links added (so far).

It sounds like ChatGPT. I don't know anyone who talks like that. Still, it keeps NFB busy.

On a related note, the screen tests by Hamill, Ford and Fisher for the original SW movie are also fascinating to watch.

I see 60 Minutes Australia loves to sensationalize.

Just watched the new "Roadhouse". I liked it and Connor McGregor is great fun in it. Also watched "Anyone But You" with Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney - she is going to be huge in the next few years. Great actress and totally stunning.

Never heard of her. She must be a new and upcoming actress.

She is sort of new, but been in a few well known things (that don't appeal to me really) but in White Lotus she was great and as NFB stated the upcoming horror film which I think she funded herself.

You are correct Ross. I read she purchased the rights years ago when she wasn't anybody and held on to it until she had producer status to get the script and movie made.

I am looking forward to seeing it as love horror films. Early reviews seem quite good. Another one I am looking forward to watching is the other trailer you linked, Late Night With The Devil.
