I can't find a historic manual for the P-40B/C but the later models including the D/E had a steerable tailwheel, not free-castoring. I assume this is true for the B/C models as well.

On your 6 o'clock, messing wit...
P-40B does not have a lockable tail wheel.

Oldpop are you having problems taxiing in the P40?

I have not had any problems taxiing it other than damaging my P40 landing gear from using too much brakes and being too fast during the turns trying to beat the AI planes to the takeoff queue biggrin

Gotta love that A2A model that.

No problems, just thought it might have a "lockable" tailwheel like the F4U and F6F. Makes TO a bit better. After looking at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=aUcqbytR9Ts , I guess not!!!
Now what about alieron trim?? Has "slots" in config, but don't see anything in pit???

See page 22 of the product's manual. Item #11 on the cockpit diagram illustrates which switch is the aileron trim control.
