Haha, I've been checking all morning, and I was like, how'd that slip by me (even though I'm convinced by B6's words that they are restarting the coding from scratch again)? Then I read the patch notes, and its was eerily similar and without reference to the current problems... Glad I was at work and not at home trying to install it again.

Restarting the code!?! well hopefully it's just a five figure access code and not game code. The former should take less time.

I'm not surprised there is no patch this week. They'd have to figure out what was causing the latest bug/s, rewrite the relatively small portion of the code they think caused it, and test it. This could take well over a week even if the bugs were easy fixes. The good news is they appear to have the performance needed to even bother continuing the development. If they could just fix those d#mn bugs before the investors/beancounters lose patience, all could be good. The short delay may even give time for a couple more AI, and FM fixes. Its getting hard to stay positive, when I think how impatient the investors much be getting, considering how impatient we are with next to nothing invested.

It's not the money, it's the hours we put in just to CTD or get a screaming sound 6 o'clock or not able to detect factories destroyed through script or not able to spawn objects through script etcetera ectetera.

In reality that statement is only partialy true, yes individually it wasn't a big investment (except those that really ramped up their rigs for this simulator), but as a collective of everyone who purchased CLoD I'm sure it wasn't just peanuts either.
cheers
