The 'sister' captain on a 581 iron-man streak (unlike some other damaged-goods captains, who are so punchy they can't drive past a pole anymore lol). Shame we didn't get an easy path like last year (Hawks would have been good in the first round, despite cheap 'intent to injure' guys). Kings might be a bit dull, Quick is a good goalie so it'll be a tight low-scoring first round. I'll be at some games as well!
The Pits vs Phl series will be a good watch, as will the capitals vs bruins..
I'm with him its been many seasons since I've felt proud to be a Ranger fan. They've had a great season all the way through playing smart hockey. I can't wait to see what they can do in the playoffs. Here's hoping they don't choke big time lol!
It's tough being a NYR fan they're kinda like the Red Sox of hockey, well sorta.
Pittsburgh looks good this year. It will be tough to go all the way back to back seasons in Boston. Vancouver's psyche is to frail to prevail. First bad goal on Luongo and the fan's will turn on him. The twin aliens don't preform well in the tougher second season. Rangers could go deep, Lunquist is the key there.
Vancouver 'fans' are brutal towards Luongo - guy must be crazy to keep playing here. Olympic gold medal, last years Jennings and 3 times Vezina candidate - and you're right, a couple of softies and people will scream for his head and burn the place down until we play Schneider (who's no slouch). The twins got 22 & 20 playoff pts last year, so we'll have to see. It's a lottery on how the refs will run with the play-offs this years, especially after a couple of boarding concussions..
Was kind of hoping Philly would at least take some Penguins out with them on the way - it's a long road and Pits and NYR are looking good
