Hi guys,

i recently watched all seasons from "The Wire" followed by "Southland", which I really like, beacuase it shows much of the daily work of a "normal" police officer on patrol, while it seems fairly realistic to my german-no-police-experienced
eyes. Having found interest in US-Police stuff I was looking for other TV-Series that are similar to Southland and maybe some games/sims as well. Of course I played all the Police Quest and SWAT games (1-4) over the years. Is there something new out there? I installed a police-mod for GTA IV which was funny.

There are 2 German Police games, ones an isometric RTS type and the other is a 3rd person 'shooter' type.

I like the look of 'The Police Simulator' and 'Police 2'. Has anyone tried them?

If you have Arma, perhaps you could try some of the rpg missions. How enjoyable these are depends a lot on the quality of players on the servers, and some of them will have requirements to who can join the cop faction.

Just bought police 2 cheap so i'll pop a little review of it in here at some point to let you know how it is.
