Double sh*t - HARM appear to hom on RPK signals too: 2:00am 15th of April, 1986. Operation El-Dorado Canyon raid against Benghazi.
Targets: Jamahiriyah barracks - 6 A-6E Intruder (from the CV-66 USS America) Benghazi AFB - 6 A-6E Intruder (from the CV-43 USS Coral Sea)
Supporting force: 8 SEAD F/A-18A Hornet (VMFA-314 Black Knights, VMFA-323 Death Rattlers from the CV-43 USS Coral Sea) 2 SEAD A-7E Corsair-II (VA-46 Clansmen, VA-72 Blue Hawks from the CV-66 USS America) 6 CAP F/A-18A Hornet (VFA-131 Wildcats, VFA-132 Privateers from the CV-43 USS Coral Sea) 3 ECM EA-6B Prowler (VAQ-135 Rooks, VMAQ-2 Playboys from both carriers) 1 SIGINT EA-3B Skywarrior (VQ-2 Sandeman from the CV-43 USS Coral Sea) 2 AWACS E-2C Hawkeye (VAW-127 Seabats from the CV-43 USS Coral Sea)
S-75M3 Volkhov
00:00:20, A-7E Corsair-II, VA-46 Clansmen launched AGM-88 HARM missile.
00:01:31, SNR knocked out by HARM. Notice that there's no "on air" value - I just switched on 75/BR (auto RPK)

Barely got 2 missiles off the rail before getting knocked out from behind on my first try, that HARM was launched 9 kilometres away.
And speaking of the first new SA-5 scenarios, a good idea would be to delay the missile launch as long as possible. Those F-14s will pull a split-S to shrug off the missiles and retreat at the first sign of trouble.

That's unfortunate, but life got to take lead to a hobby. Thank you for hard work and wonderful simulator.Just suspended further development until I take PMI-PMP exam. I think I am going to commit suicide...Meeting HARM first time, after Shrikes is tough. Personally I found that in those missions we are badly handicaped... Especially "Neva" guys. They should fight without Aquisition radar... They were actually woken up by the detonations... Double sh*t - HARM appear to hom on RPK signals too Notice that there's no "on air" value - I just switched on 75/BR (auto RPK) ... P15 and RPK use the decimetric wavelenght, and HARM can home on their signal. Just remember what Zoltan Dani said... ... the 21st second while you are still on air, can be the last second of your life.

think I am going to commit suicide... Meeting HARM first time, after Shrikes is tough. I am not desperate about HARM's, I am suicidal because of your absence. (Hope you don't get it wrong!). I've just have some suspition that you wo't be able to continue with this, even after those 6 months (Don't ask me why...)... Good luck in your study! Hope, we still can write here and give some information about bugs etc. Maybe this information could be found valuable someday. ... P15 and RPK use the decimetric wavelenght, and HARM can home on their signal. We still are not familiar with dimensions of our tracking radars main and sidelobes... I am sure HARM's cannot be succesful from 0-360 azimuth - 0-90 elevation. Anyway, as I suspected, fighting on our one whould be allmost inposibble... All SEAD planes attacks only our batterie, still didn't check 3d AARS (my main computer broked, and now using old laptop - very hard to play), but sure ARM are going all for us... Badly need support from the other batteries (AI or something). Also curiouse about procedure of target aquisition for SEAD's. It, appears that it doesn't takes some time for them...

And piston79, from what I've come to know about SEAD tactics with another simulator(namely Falcon 4.0 w/FF5, and a bit of BMS), the force we're facing could have already known the general location of our SNR, and has it already pre-briefed, or in another term, loaded into their HARMs. After that they could just wait for some microwave to give those missiles something to home in. Hm, we have a mole here... Joking... Now, I am checking for a first time 3DAAR's and think it's good to add in "Waypoint" section flagg for the moment of knocking out the SNR... So much steel is on the air, cannot understand what is happening...

We still are not familiar with dimensions of our tracking radars main and sidelobes... I am sure HARM's cannot be succesful from 0-360 azimuth - 0-90 elevation.I have spoken to Serbian SAM battery commanders, who personally experienced HARM from the back. Anyway, as I suspected, fighting on our one whould be allmost inposibble... All SEAD planes attacks only our batterie, still didn't check 3d AARS (my main computer broked, and now using old laptop - very hard to play), but sure ARM are going all for us... Badly need support from the other batteries (AI or something).No. Only one Weasel is against you, at any given time, same as LB-II. (same code) Also curious about procedure of target aquisition for SEAD's. It, appears that it doesn't takes some time for them... It took them to acquire similar time, than at LB-II. (same code) Just the HARM flies faster.

Just the HARM flies faster. Faster? Than Shrike - yes! But still ours are faster. This is from the forum: 5Ya23...
Max speed and overload capability (depending on target altitude): at 300m altitude, 785m/s (Mach2.6), 6~7g at 10km altitude, 910m/s (Mach3), 7~9g at 25km altitude, 1125m/s (Mach3.7), 3~3.3g at 30km altitude, 1230m/s (Mach4), 2.1~2.4g HARM: Range: 30 plus miles (48 plus kilometers) Speed: Max. speed: 2280 km/h (App. 630m/s) And V-750 is faster than V-759...

First of all, thanks Hpasp for releasing this beta. Secondly, good luck with your exam. I gotta tell you they are really quick:

00:01:31, SNR knocked out by HARM.
Total, SNR On Air Time: 6sec
