Ahh.... You know you're all only onboard until release, then sparks fly of disappointment and missing features...

Just kidding... but not really. wink

I will get this. Wings of Prey was a great sim game. And with all the positive Birds of Steel feedback, I expect this to be even better with the focus on multiplayer.

I really like the lighting. BOS is so dark it's difficult on the visuals at times

Even if it remotely similar to IL2 in its fm's, with this gorgeous looking game it will be well worth it!

Have they shown any bomber cockpits yet? Since Birds of Steel doesn't have any this has me concerned as a heavy bomber pilot. Really hope they add these for War Thunder!

This game, with so many planes, awesome graphics, and a mission builder will be an awesome buy. Anything over that will be a bonus to me. I really hope the dev know the potential here.

I agree Trooper117, I really hope that bombers have virtual cockpits as that's a role I'd happily fly in War Thunder, but certainly not in external view... There are so many planes in the list though, I'm a bit worried about the fact that it might mean that not all of them have cockpits...

I'm trying to sign up for the beta... still no answer though.

Really looks nice.
Don't care if it's not 100% realistic, I just want it to be coherent and credible.

Let's hope that we get "realistic" air battles with allies vs. axis or so. And not mixed team with german, russian, US and british planes vs. another mixed team with german, russian, US and british planes like the standard battles in World of Tanks.

I too signed up for the beta, but looking through the forums I see a lot of references to Wings of Prey and YuPlay, I have WoP but I uninstalled it because there was never any multiplayer available and I didn't like the YuPlay interface. If there is anyone playing the beta how did you get it, by Email link? does it load through YuPlay?

I spy a He-51, ok looks like I will be grabbing it for a looksee!
Does look pretty, just hope it is at least as simmy as Il-2 was when maxed out,
If not better!

Cheers
Craig

The problem with the World is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
