In app settings that work for me are in order of most impact on performance:

- Always turn the Anti-Epilespy and SSAO off (unless you're epileptic)

- In game A-A I set to off, as I run at a high res, but it has a disproportional impact on FPS.

- Texture quality. Put to 'high' as even with a 2GB GPU 'original' can cause issues.

- Forest. Trees on Low or Medium seem to be the happy medium as otherwise it stutters. The speedtree use in the sim is inefficient so far, but word is that's being fixed.

Everything else I leave on 'High' (with Buildings set to 'Unlimited' as I don't like the way they appear). On your specs that should be fine. I also turn off the 'grass' setting as I think it can look like a dog molting in terms of LOD handling, but that's not really a perf thing.

Good luck!

Thx for all the info chaps! Will have a play around later on. At the moment I do seem to be getting a slight stuttering when flying low around houses etc.

Hello everyone i'm new here...

Anyone knows if Kegetys is still working on those mods?
The problem is i can't get lowtex to work on version 1.02. Throws memory access violation exception when loading starts...
lowshadows and lowclouds work great, with noticable increase in framerate.

The other big problem is that the 1.02 game still does not run in true fullscreen mode (you can see that by switching to desktop in game without screen "blackout" like in other games).
And if you ever played any game in windowed mode, you know that it has a big impact on framerate, as the OS still needs to render the user interface, while the game is running.

I seriously don't get the developers, i mean don't they know about this problem??

Hey Andrej, any reason why you're still on 1.02? If you've got auto updating turned off for Clod the turn it on and patch yourself up to 1.05... otherwise, well if its otherwise I shouldn't imagine that many people around here will be too keen to help.

I think SMAA is the way to go , and you're better to disable AA in the game, and in CCC or the Nvidia equvilent.

You can find SMAA in my thread in my earlier post.

SMAA works very well and is very easy to enable using JSGME. Is there a version of it for CoD that uses 4X?

I have a slightly more powerful PC than that but still get memory leaks. What is your secret?
