There probably won't be alot of action until the next patch delivers more performance and less CTD's. In the mean time the ATAG server usually has more than enough online for some enjoyable missions. I haven't tried accessing the ATAG server thru Hyperlobby, but I know its easily accessable thru the in game multiplayer.

ATAG regularly has 40+ people flying. Easy to access ingame through the multiplayer option,or if you join their teamspeak they have a shortcut there which goes straight to the server missing out all the start up menus.

I just checked HyperLobby and there isn't anybody flying on the COD servers, but there are around 90 people flying thru the ingame COD servers. I don't know how Hyperlobby accesses these servers, but after the next patch we should see a large influx of players online and Hyperlobby server access will probably get sorted out.

ATAG is your best bet for starters. Make sure you get yourself onto their teamspeak channel as well, the regulars will get you up to speed.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone, re the ATAG Server. Yes, Teamspeak is a must. Fortunately we're a friendly bunch. WinkNGrin

Sometimes I'll turn Teamspeak off just to try flying from a newcomer's perspective. Keeping a Custom Window open with server messages and chat dialogue is helpful, but I still feel isolated from the action. Even cruising around the England-side "hotspots" like Hawkinge and Manston is usually unproductive. A 6+ plane dogfight can be swirling away just a couple of miles from you, or 5,000 feet above, and you can easily miss it. Unfortunately, a pair of high roving 109's are not about to miss YOU! LOL

With Teamspeak you have many pairs of eyes linked to you, and frequently 8 guns to chase a bandit off your tail! It IS fun being on comms with you guys, I gotta say! thumbsup

Thanks for info chaps! Like the in-sim connection, seems to work well. Frame rates all over the place though(maybee turn some stuff off?). Man this sim really is/will be something special...Talk about imersive flying in that glorious cockpit...

Another thing I noticed is the controls seem rather jerky, is this a known issue?
