There wasn't one until much later in the life of the aircraft unless TK models one that isn't realistic.
There is an apocryphal story running around that after a couple of Tomcats got fired on by Ethiopian SA-2s, the crews installed commercial "Fuzzbuster" radar detectors in the cockpit and wired the tone to the plane's audio system.

I have confirmation from a FB friend that was a Tomcat RIO that the RWR was a VSI page for the "nose gunner" He related a story to me about the day of the 89 shootdown over Libya. He recalled seeing "strobes" on his display coming from Triploli. I LOVE having a RIO FB friend. Tomcat stories kick ass!

That's not correct. Here in this page (pilot cockpit): http://anft.net/f-14/f14-detail-cp-a-pilot.htmYou have: 38. ECM Warning Light -> which is are a set of RWR activity lights (when some radar activity is present some of those lights will turn on) And here (RIO cockpit): http://anft.net/f-14/f14-detail-cp-a-rio.htmYou have: 28. Multiple Display Indicator -> which shows the RWR page. Also note that the pilot's HSI screen can also show a RWR page.

Warning Lights were added to the Right side of the wind screen frame from BuNo 158978 and up (1973). Warning Lights were added to the left of the AoA Indexer from BuNo 159002 and up, which was 1974.
as pointed out by someone on CombatAce.
so if these are images from early BuNo F14s, then they are correct.

The F-14A carried the ALR-45, when it was accepted into the fleet. How (where) the data was displayed, is a different matter.

so if these are images from early BuNo F14s, then they are correct. Well, if that's the case than the F-14_77 variant (two variants are included in SF2:NA, one from the year 1977 and an another earlier one) must have those lights that I described before.

fingers tapping on the desk........waiting.....refresh button.......waiting........
If only there would be some regular updates from their crew.......
Till then, standing by, as the news will only get better, once they release any news.

Tbh, i am a little annoyed that there is no info on a release date. Sure it has to be close but it peeves me off checking the tripwire seite a few times a day with no news there regarding a release! I wish they woudn´t had loaded up that product page because that fracking thing hyped me beyond sanity!

He's never put a product page up until the title was available. I don't know why he did it this time and I kinda wish he hadn't.
