New official license for Assetto Corsa has been announced: Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari of Imola.

March 1st, 2012
Kunos Simulazioni is pleased to announce a new officially licensed
track for our upcoming racing simulation, Assetto Corsa, the
Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola
Welcome back Imola to the simracing world! Kunos Simulazioni celebrates the rebirth of one of
the most favourite tracks for simracing enthusiasts, acquiring the official license to reproduce
this legendary circuit as it has never been done before, by using Laserscan technology.
The most famous fan of this track, Enzo Ferrari, was usual to define Imola as the "little
Nurburgring", referring to its highly demanding layout for cars and drivers. Still today, thanks
to its climbs and famous corners, remains one of the most exciting tracks for racing.
Reproducing such a characteristic racing circuit in a 3D scenary is a real challenge. The
Laserscan recognition, completed in 2011, has allowed the development team to model each
bend and climb with an incredible precision, in order to guarantee an emotional driving, as
close as possible to the real life circuit. It's a privilege for Kunos Simulazioni to offer to Assetto
Corsa's fans this amazing circuit, surrounded by the Emilian countryside, a piece of Italy that
the development team is proud to represent.

Game information
Assetto Corsa is a new DirectX 11 based racing game for Windows, expected to be released in
2012.
Assetto Corsa is being designed to provide a very realistic driving experience, with single
player and multiplayer options, officially licensed cars and tracks developed using Laser scan
technology, and the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing
environments. Also, Assetto Corsa will allow for considerable customisation and modification,
in order to satisfy the expectations of professional simracers, gamers who prefer to approach
the driving experience more progressively, and hobbyists who just like to collect lots of cars
and tracks.
