You dont have Starz, or dont know about this series, time to Google it.

It keeps getting better each week. Season 2 was a small bit of a letdown since Whitfield was sick and they wanted to keep the momentum going, but season 3 is back with a vengeance (hehe).

And the new guy (McIntyre) is doing an admirable job filling some demanding boots.

I LOVED the first season. Particularly Andy Whitfield. He has so much presence and was such a good actor especially for that role.

I'm still enjoying Vengeance, but I can't get past how much better it would be if Andy were in it. The new guy is decent though. From what I've read online, McIntyre was chosen by Andy himself to fill his shoes.

Awesome show, it also has the most brutal in your face violence I've ever seen in a TV show. Plenty of debauchery as well.

Since we usually see those times from the Roman point of view it's interesting to get the slaves side. Andy Whitfield excelled as Spartacus and it's a tragedy that Illness took him away just as the show was becoming a hit. I'm not sure about the new guy yet, I don't think he has the charisma that Andy had.

John Hannah and Lucy Lawless were also very good in the show and gave it a Shakespearean Macbeth touch.

The new series has just begun and I'll be interested to see if they show any CGI big battles this time round.

It is still a great show. I was worried for it after Whitfield had passed so tragically, but McIntyre is doing a wonderful job.

I didn't know it had started! I'd have picked up Starz for it. Doesn't look like Netflix is airing them like the others.
I don't want to pick it up in the middle of the season.

First you should watch "Spartacus - Gods of the Arena" It is a six eposode Season 2 Prequel that bridges the storyline between Season 1 and 2 so charactors won't be just showing up out of nowhere. lol

McIntyre is doing a decent enough job but he simply doesn't have the chemistry with Manu Bennett Andy Whitfield had. Those guys I swear when the director called cut and they ate lunch they stared each other down. I'm kidding but those guys did a great job of looking like the genuinely hated each other. Also the new Navia is just bad. The episode before last, as they went through the forest I was hoping she'd die. Still love the show though.

This show is tough for me to like. It's just too over the top and I'm not much for the over use of the "300" style slow motion sequences that seem to happen every couple of minutes. Don't get me wrong I love over the top violence and nudity but it just seems so gratuitous in this show.

Starz was free for the last year in my area. Just ended, too bad. I like the series.

Saw those last year. That's why I was looking forward to this so much.
