I have an old double axe given down through my family. A high knickel Steel type sheen and an amazing ability to hold an edge. Today, I sharpened it to an extreme edge and shaved with it. Takes some careful strokes but works well and feels great with the old shaving bar of soap. Right now, my face is burning and reacting with some welts etc. but a double martini is assisting greatly. The axe is curiously dull afterward. Why? I have chopped with it and has retained the edge longer. I did wipe it with Stoli prior to the shave and then after.

Odd stuff this Stoli. Puts a shine on me and takes it off me axe. New maplevhandle tonight too ... Axe aftershave maybe. Thought I would share

Good story Bubba! I test my knives by shaving the back of my hand but I never tried it on my face. I got a tuff beard, that would probably be painful but I guess that is what Stoli's is for (I drink Finlandia).
