In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Great Naval Battles of the North Atlantic
Task Force 1942

I play a lot of retro games, and while some have modern equivalents, the above two have not really been redone. GNBNA in particular would be good to see as a modern game.

Ok, time for some games archaeology - let's see how old you girls/guys really are.. smile

Games to remake using today's tech (and limited to 10 of them):

- 3D Ant Attack

- Mercenary: Escape from Targ

- Stunt Island

- Ikari Warriors

- Paradroid

- Spy vs Spy ('84, not the Xbox remake)

- The Sentinel

- Stunt Car Racer

- F-19 Stealth Fighter

- The Fourth Protocol

If you recognize any of these, that feeling you are experiencing is called nostalgia.. smile

I'm thinking the answer to all these questions is "no".

Supreme Commander is the remake of Total Annihilation. One of best RTS games ever made IMO.

Plays really well - thanks for that.

It's amazing that the hacking/droid transfer mini-games are so similar to the recent Deus-Ex. Also, the game would have to made much much easier to be attractive to today's players - if you make a mistake you actually die! lol
