Any of you heard of this guy?

Just amazing.

I loved this bit
Quote:
One afternoon, Tiffany ducked her head out of the door to the garage and spotted Taylor, in his canary yellow nuclear-technician’s coveralls, watching a pool of liquid spreading across the concrete floor. “Tay, it’s time for supper.”
“I think I’m going to have to clean this up first.”
“That’s not the stuff you said would kill us if it broke open, is it?”
“I don’t think so,” he said. “Not instantly.”

Super Villain in the making. He'll be holding the world to ransom in 5 years time you mark my words!

....or he'll just get a really good job as a scientist...one of the 2 anyway.

Don't you think he should ask for *more* than a million dollars? A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days. Virtucon alone makes over 9 billion dollars a year!

Yes, during grad school I worked at ITER doing summer internships and we received a letter from this boy's father asking for technical specs about a specific laser system. He said it was for his (then) eleven year old son, and that whatever he didnt understand from the specs, he could figure out (!!!). Go figure, some kids spend their entire adolescence playing with their Xbox 360s while this kid builds a fusion reactor.

If you can defeat me in a fair same altitude duel, you are either Hartmann's ghost or you have a ganja problem that needs treatment.

Don't give them to Chucky, WhistlinggDeath! He has a white, fluffy cat and a bald head!

I dont know what became of his request or whether our section head released any data to the boy's father. At the time, I was only a lowly grad student, taking orders and kissing azzes. I can say, we were all a bit surprised and like you, we wondered whether the boy was really a 190 IQ wonderbomb or a faker asking for information to pass to others.

Higher level, this kid. Like one person said in the comments, it'll be a treat to watch him go in the next several decades.
