For sure thats a beauty!

Thanks, John, Ray and Mike for this wonderful Tomahawk (British name for an American Lady ) Will be a gem for any North African scenario. And, of course, she looks sooo beautiful - better than the Kittyhawk IMHO. Ray, the Reggiane Falco I looks gorgeous, too. Just a little hint - the main differences towards the P-35 are the air intakes above and below the radial. Look here: http://www.finn.it/regia/immagini/musei/fvm_reggiane_re2000_falco1_01.jpgWould it be possible to add at least the large intake on top? Then this would be a perfect add-on for a Malta scenario. The Re.2000 operated mainly over Malta and over Northern Tunisia using its bases in Sicily. The Regia Aeronautica didn´t have many Re.2000; the main users were Sweden and - Mike will be pleased - Hungary. Hungary acquired 70 Italian planes and produced 200 to use it in its Airforce. Listen, Mike, they used a very colourful camouflage: http://www.acesofww2.com/hungary/Hungary.htmThe main Reggiane version over Malta and Northern Africa was the Reggiane 2001 Falco II, equipped with the German DB 601 engine, the same as for the Bf109E and Bf109F: http://www.mauroantonellini.com/joomla/aeroplani/41-reggiane/74-reggiane-2000-2001-2002The successors were: Re.2002 Ariete "Ram-Aries"(radial engine) Re.2005 Sagittario "Archer-Sagittarius"(inline engine DB 605 - Bf 109G and K), which is the most beautiful IMHO of the Reggiane versions: http://www.hyperscale.com/2010/reviews/kits/sword72031reviewmd_1.htmI know you´re a What-If aficionado, Ray. Here´s the Re.2007, a jet project, for you: http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/axis/ity/wanta2007.htm

John & Ray,
Nice one! RE aerial wires John, is "Perter" me or another one - my memory is not good these days and it has been on the stocks for a while.
Cheers
Pete

Iam realy looking forward to this!! The P40C(not the later models) imho is one of the most beautiful planes ever build. The proportions just fit. With such a skin it will be a pleasure to shoot it down. The later P40´s look more like a Buchon in comparison to the 109G, just ugly(ok not that ugly, but the proportions dont fit anymore). btw, Ray, did you fix the flaps action code??

Always liked the Tomahawk which is probably why I have 5 kits of it compared with only 2 Warhawks and 1 P-36
