Flight only? Or weapons and avionics too?

All of it. There's a public alpha somewhere around which allows some basic stuff like firing the gun.

It's making veeeeerrry slooooow progress sadly.

Oh wow, looks great so far. Hopefully it will make it to a finished product.

Found the alpha download too http://www.vipersnest.it/home/download.asp?sezione=4

The promised features look amazing! Finally, the next Jane's F/A-18? I hope so. The alpha download have carrier ops already?

A video on Youtube of the alpha has starting on a carrier but the cat launch is a bit jumpy lol.

If this comes trough it may be the perfect companion to the BMS Falcon. This too seems to have problems with terrain detail currently, whereas exterior models, cockpit and system depth are comparable.

WARNING: There was a guy taking donations for this sim. It's not legit, he was fired and he started collecting money pretending to be the real developer. The real team is not taking any donations. I don't know what's the current situation today, they planned on suing him, but just in case, if you stumble across a site asking for money, keep your credit card in you walet.

I tried the alpha years ago. It had potential back then, and this looks WAY better! Looking forward to this. I like the animated pilot. Brings the sim to life a little bit.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Guys, we have a goodie here! Tried the demo and it's awesome if you can get past the OIF-like graphics. I like how the screen moves and shakes. It's somewhat easier to fly than VRS product, but I leave FM comments to the experts. For me, she's simply a joy to fly. I managed to trap on the first try. And we have meatball now! Gonna spend the weekend doing carrier quals in this sim. It's real fun.

Not the prettiest sight, I admit. But they still have a long way to go anyway. You haven't downloaded the demo? Get it. It's only 73 MB.

Install the demo and try it yourself. Bear in mind that it's the old release and the quality has increased since then (check their site and look at the videos and new screenshots).
