One of these days (and hopefully soon) Belechick, and or Brady will retire and you'll be back to the likes of the Grogen years.

And the Phins will get the second coming of Shula and Marino.

Here's a tidbit; The Pats never won in Miami until the final game of the '85 season. The Pats needed a win there to clinch a playoff birth.

As far as going back to the Grogan years? I know it'll happen. That's why I'm glad now and take nothing for granted. Brady will retire. Bellichik will too. Kraft's magic will wane and all that's right with the world will end. As a fan, we've had it good.

But until then........ neaner The Patriots are picked as favorites to make the SB again next year.

On that last deep pass into the end zone half our pub crowd had a heart attack. Yeah, pretty exiting.

First the Red Sox finally got rid of the "Curse of the Bambino".

Now the Patriots have the Curse of the "Babe-ino". Things in the postseason just haven't gone right since Giselle.....

And even though I'm a fan, I hate when the media call him "Tom Terrific". Geez that's bad. Maybe I've missed something, cause I don't see him coming off as arrogant. Confident yes, but he's not talking trash at people. Maybe I just don't pay that much attention, but I think the "arrogance" claim is 99% jealousy from most people.

Ah well, time to shift my full attention to the Bruins. A Cup repeat would be pretty good medicine for the Pats losing.

The Patriots have quite a dynasty but when it comes to New England sports I don't think anything will ever surpass the Celtics dynasty that lasted from the early 60's until the early 90's. smile

Dead on, this guy is so not arrogant it's not funny, they say he's the last one in the training area and the last one out. You hear him blaming himself instead of pointing fingers... If anything I think he's still playing to "prove himself" for being 199 in the draft behind 6 other QB's....

The only time I've heard Brady chide an opposing team is before the 08 SB. Plaxico Burriss of the Giant's commented that the Pats would only score 17 points.

Thinking of how many points they scored all year it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that the Pats would score more than 17 points......... but Tom still should have been mum.

And as far as the Pats being beaten like mules...... the season game was won by 4 points. It was 0 - 0 at half time. There was a one point differential at halftime in the SB. The 08 Superbowl could just as easily have been lost by the G Men. While they corraled and hasseled Tom all day, he still managed a go ahead TD with ~ 2 and a half minutes left. I'll give the Giants credit. Despite one of the strangest catches in SB history they STILL had to get it into the end zone and they did. But all three of these games could have went either way. In a wat, that's what makes them so great. Those 55 - 10 blow outs are boring.

Know what I'd love to see in a SB? Manning verses Manning. It'll probably never happen. I just don't think Peyton will ever be the QB he once was, but still, that would be a fun match up.

Yeah, I remember the Superbowls of the 90's well when the AFC was simply a punching bag for the NFC.

Washington was pretty domnating in those early 90s games. Buffalo goes to 4 SBs and no one remembers Jim Kelly. If Elway didn't finally win, I wonder what his legacy would be?

Yeah that was nice that Denver finally won 2 Superbowls at the end of the 90's.
