If you don't see commander names (zoomed) - you can only select by window (hold LMB and drag selection).

OR, .. you can press [F6], which turns off Commander names, and you can select squads by clicking. (no need for LMB and drag). smile

Yes, but it's a units, not a squads.

Oops sorry, I meant units. smile

I saw that you said squads in your post, which confused me at first, as I thought you meant selecting a squad by clicking in window, which obviously you don't. smile

Squad selection by division panel, or, LMB & drag in window. smile

Unit selection by division panel, or LMB in window. smile

I think we're getting there. WinkNGrin

Yep - things are moving along nicely.

This is shaping up to be the tank sim experience par excellence.

Well done and thankyou to Andrey and his crew.

Following the instructions:

Quote:
1) Unpack patch to c:\temp\sabow_jan_2012

results in a subfolder "CORE" being created with files extracted to it.

Quote:
2) Install core update 5.77 -> gte2_core_update_v577.exe (select root game folder)

I'm assuming this means I should run file "gte2_core_update_v577.exe" and when prompted direct it to the game root folder.
Where is "gte2_core_update_v577.exe" its not in the extracted files and not in the game folders.

Yep, I don't post allot. But I still love you.

It is not necessary. Just some of the changes will take effect if you start from the beginning.

What kind of error messages are you getting? I get error messages when opening the zip file, and when unpacking it.
