I recieved an ipod for my birthday and am looking to fill it with songs. I use my ipod to jog and at puck and stick, so the musics gotta be motivational.
I like fairly heavy rock, though not 'liquid metal'. Apparently I enjoy Alternative music as well, this a bit surprising but three or so songs listed below are 'alternative'. Who'd a thunk
Currently my playlist includes Collective Soul(Where the water flows), System of a Down(Spiders), Seether(Remedy), Stone Temple Pilots(Down), Chevelle(face to the floor), Scorpions(the Zoo), Alice In Chains(Man In the Box), and that's about it lol
Luckily it's only an 8 GB ipod he he
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Congrats on the device. I recently got the same thing. I'm happy with it,as I managed to cram 67 albums on there. Mine is filled up with ZZ Top,Fabulous Thunderbirds,Pat Travers,Robin Trower,Aerosmith,Ted Nugent,Led Zep,Buck Owens,The Derailers,George Benson,Lou Donaldson,Kid Bangham,Bugs Henderson,Smokin' Joe Kubek,Hank Jr.,and a few others. A Logitech wireless Bluetooth headset makes for some good sound. Have fun!!

Bjorn Berge gets my vote. I have a lot of his music on my android and it always seems to fit the moon.

Amazon.com has a ton of FREE Music samplers from various labels meant to promote the bands from the label. It is a great way to investigate new music that you may not have been aware of. Even if you end up liking only 1 or 2 tracks from the sampler, it can send you off in a whole new musical direction.
I have found, however, that OFTEN when I really like a track, and I go to listen/buy the album it came from, I usually only end up liking the single track I already had from the sampler. There have been cases, though, where I liked the album, liked the band and ended up buying their entire catalog.

I listen to Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin and Saving Able while I work out, good pace music without giving a headache.
