Question about Hpasp!

What is the maximum angle supports Dvina!

I think not more than 65 degrees, this is so or not?

See manual page 6 - "Zona porajenia" - altitude (visota) - 18,000.00 meters.

I knew it!

You can make more of a picture, and then I can see on the figures!

Question for Developers? Hpasp!
What kind of switches in the picture shown by the arrows!

Only the rightmost is simulated.

The KONTR SINHR PU-CU switch has 4 states.
Firing Channel I - II - III - CU.
When it is set to Firing Channel I - II - III the red arrows at the green circular instrument shows the PU connected to firing channel I/II/III.
At default setting (CU), it shows the IADS target direction. (if exist)
In elevation, the PU is aiming above the SNR, as the missile is dropping during the unguided booster stage operation.

"Variable Frequency"

santa
We are getting deep into the advanced SDC operation...

... so here we are, with lots of ground clutter.
We are in 75Km mode, and some clutters are from over this range.

If we switch on our lovely SDC, we find out, that it could filter clutter till 75km, but...
... all clutter, that is beyond 75km is still messing up our scopes.

If we now turn off the variable frequency, than we can filter all clutter, from the screen (over 75km also).

Clearly I understood Super!

So in this Simulator "Variable frequency" is working!

Quote:
Ground clutter is generally not caused the SNR to lock on it, just made spotting the target a bit more difficult.

Generally please learn using SDC. (Its not a big issue, compared to Radio-Proxy Fuse settings.)

With the Neva, the SDC has two modes...
... where the target speed should be below:
BS - 600m/s
MS - 200m/s
If the target speed is over 600m/s, do not use SDC!
Also SDC can only be used with 40Km mode. Do not use it with 80Km!!!

Because lack of SDC on Dvina, I've wondering what is goin' on with tracking in heavy ground clutters... That's why I picked first mission from "War of Nutrition" (yo, it's sounds like hip-hop, baby!), and locked on damn "Mirage"-s with 5/9 batterie. Switched on 55 km mode (for worst clutter avoiding efect) but Dvina tracked them like bread'n butter even when I was not able to see them. I don't believe this is due the Dvina's ability to follow delta. Think we should dig deep in that. Anyway, my original thought was due that we cannot pick a ground clutter and lock it. I watched about test of Pechora2A, guys showed it's jamming resistance and proove that with AS on ground clutter (which was impossible for basic NEVA on this level of jamming (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5zC_JWvx...n5ol8TKFVvIXeHq check after 1:25). Because locking on every mole hill would crash the SIM and it's HUGE WORK, maybe should tune it up, to lose AS track, when target goes on ground clutter (for Dvina and others when SDC not active). I believe that this should be the real behaiviour in this type of conditions.

Question about Hpasp!

What is the meaning of these switches and are active in the Dvina!

What is a Microphone and why do I need?

Maybe it's a "dog house"!

"RAB PO ADA" is active or not?

Hpasp, could you consider releasing minor fixes (SAMSIM versions with 3-digit extension) as separate packages, maybe several files to copy manually to the sim directory? Although my computer has no problem with playing performance, by some reason it takes me some 45 min. to install the sim - files are being copied very slowly.

The same story and I, but 45 minutes is obviously sorting!

15 min or 20 min, yes, but not 45 min!

If you can do that can unpack, then simply unpack the archive SAM

Create a folder "data" and copy all files with the extension dat.

Example "dvina01.dat, volhov02.dat, krug03.dat"!

All this in a folder "data" to copy.

My advice, I did so myself!

Dvina can follow target, if it is invisible to the FCO.
The target should be visible to the Range and Angle trackers.
They indicator is displaying 5km mode only.

Try this.

Use Volhov, without SDC. When the target disappears because of heavy ground clutter, switch the indicator to 5km mode.
You will be able to see the target more easily...

What is a Microphone and why do I need?

A telephone center is integrated to the panel. (not simulated)
You can select who to call (2, AV, RV, STAB, PU-I, PU-II, PU-III, 3), make a call (with the button), and switch on/off your microphone.
You can have a phone conference, by selecting more than one.

"RAB PO ADA" is active or not?

active
