Hey folks. I don't know if its Origin's latest update still working itself out but I'm constantly getting disconnects from BF3. I'll either get a glitch where everything turns white and my view is placed somewher beneath the map looking up or I flat out get disconnected with either no explanation or a "something went wrong" error message.

Is it punkbuster? I have that installed but I think I saw someone awhile back post about an update tool for it. Where can I find that? This is getting irritating.

I was having the exact same problem about an hour ago, so much so, that I finally just quit trying to play. I just figured it was on my end (connection being flakey, etc.) Now that I see you're having this problem, I feel better (sorry) that its on their end.

I think there was an un-announced Origin update today (at least, I didn't know about it). I came home and tried to join a game but Origin wasn't running, when I tried to login it kept saying: Invalid User/Pass combo.

Had the same prob a week ago and got the punkbuster update program.

Thanks for the link Mace. I never got a disconnect that specifically said it was do to a PB issue but who knows. I think Origin did have a little update. I could not log in either for a couple of hours. I went to an Origin forum and an admin had a post about a downtime for maintenance or some such. I mean I get wierd glitchy disconnects all the time in BF3 but this was unusual because I got some sort of disconnect from every server I joined for one reason or another.

A week ago the punkbuster server and client version was updated....the game (like many others) doesn't seem to pick the update up. It's worth running the update tool once a month or so to stop this sort of thing happening.

Please help me!!! These disconnects are wrecking my BF3 mp gaming. I'm constantly crashing even after many minutes of play do to "something went wrong". What kind of stupid message is that??!! It certainly can't be punkbuster since I've updated that recently.

Wheels you said something about ASUS the other night. My video card is EVGA and my mother board is Asus. Do I need to update Direct X or a driver or something?

I can't stand earing all these points only to crash to desk top and loose everything. This is becoming very problematic.

Make sure you are not logged in to Origin and Battlelog.
Then clear the cache & cookies of your browser.

No guarantees but it's worth a try.

How do I clear cache? I've gone and deleted cookies in the normal place. I also let windows install a few updates that seem to have been pending for some reason. I guess I didn't know they were there. One of the updates included a newer version of Internet Explorer which I'm now having to get familiarized with.

I played for awhile after I did this and hadn't got the wierd glitch crash thing yet. Hope it will help.
