Any chance making it user playable for us andrey Yes Puleez, I live in South Africa, and although I was exempt from National Service (2yrs), a few of my friends served in that war. Although they all came back ok, some of the friends they made, whilst fighting in Angola, .. did not. Anyhoo, I'm not sure that they would be overly impressed with me, knowing that I was lobbing shells in the general direction of their beloved SADF (beloved then, .. certainly not now). So, I could/would be labelled an 'almost hero' if I could drive about in a SADF Olifant, and kick Castro's butt all about the Angolan countryside. I would be ever so appreciative. (Then I would have some war stories to share around the braaivleis (barbeque)). BTW, that Olifant does great. It would be a real pity if I have put dents and holes in it. Ta Awfully Tally Ho Tom

Ta Awfully Tally Ho Tom I know how you feel on that. I want to projectile vomit at the afgan/iraq location games out there. Too soon for that crap but Im overly sensitive on that issue. Playable Olifant.....would be vary nice but Im guessing Graviteam couldnt get good internal referance material. While not the same, I would love a playable t62 for unita. At least there you could have Ratals about with you.

Can you provide installation instruction as well? Same as previous beta 2 Do I need fresh install? Do I need sequential installation (beta1,2,3)? Should I uninstall previous beta?
Unpack, select in updater... All do automatically by updater Click save & play

Hi andrey, Thanks for the new patch Have not had time to fully explore it but unfortunately I must report the loader hatch still has some flickers (at least for me). BUT they are much, much less compared to before (about 3/4 less then before), so it's a definate improvement.

Also, where is gte2_core_update_v577.exe file? It's not provided in a link above. Am I the only person here that having problems installing a simple patch?

Hi Sim,
That had me scratching my head too.
The core update seems to be the same as for the last beta - so it's already installed.
I just used the update option within the game for the new beta files (not forgetting to 'save and play').
Hope that helps.
I'm pretty sure the patch has worked since the middle mouse button now controls the external camera.

http://files.mail.ru/UJ8TWN Do that first. If you running win7 64 bit there could be issues. But it should say in SABOW screen v5.77 upper right after that is applied....if not try moving (copy paste) directry out of x86 programs. may or may not be an issue....thank you microsoft. THERE is no beta 1. At least not released in English version. To be safe I would install b2 first. But dont worry about uninstalling it our anything. Then using updater and finding addpack file install b3. http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=9929.0 that can help too.

It would be very nice to receive directions that...direct. Hi Sim, Asked andrey about the beta patches. They are cumulative so you don't need to install the beta 2 , the beta 3 patch will give you everything you need from beta 2. If you have beta 2 installed in the Game Updater don't worry beta 3 will overwrite it. Here's what you need to do. 1). Quite any programs you maybe running. 2). Install the game core update gte2_core_update v577eng (this one goes directly into your game root folder) 3). Unzip the mtc80__sabow_patch_beta3 to a temp folder 4). Start the game updater (located in the SABoW GUI). Now the Game Updater UI should come up. 5). Click Start and navigate to the temp file where you saved the mtc80_sabow_patch_beta3 file. 6). Open the CORE file and select the desc.addpack file and open it. The Game Updater should now start installing the files. 7). When finished installing click on the Save and Play button, beta3 should now be installed and will show in the Updater as ver 1.018). Exit the updater You have one more thing to do before you begin playing, you must delete your profile and make a new one ( I really hope they change this last reguirement, love the updates, hate having to start all over again with a new profile). Now if you did everything correctly at the SABoW GUI screen you should see Version 5.77 (1469) Update: Jan 123b in the upper right hand corner. If you still have problems I would suggest maybe doing a fresh install of SABoW (just in case anything got pooched from the previous installs that didn't work for you) and then add the game core file and the beta 3 file as described above. P.S. Guys about the install directions. Remember andrey's native laungage isn't English, but I'm sure his English is probably 99% better then our understanding of Russian I know it cane be frustrating at times but he's trying and learning as he goes so lets be supportive
