This Matilda was destroyed by Tiger and there are no damage vectors visible. Since the October patch I´ve seen these stuck soldiers often. In various objects.

This Matilda was destroyed by Tiger and there are no damage vectors visible. It's not a bug. Vector is drawn only on the first sheet of a penetrated armor or misc objects. If part with first penetration was detached the vector will not be present too. Since the October patch I´ve seen these stuck soldiers often. In various objects. Yes, such feature is present and will remain in a fairly long term.

So if I understand it correctly, when the part of the tank is hit and falls off the vector isn´t shown ? Yes, such feature is present and will remain in a fairly long term. OK

It isn't probably a bug, but here we go:
(In tactical phase) I issue an order for infantry to move/attack quickly, but they just walk or will run and slow down after a while. In last game, I weren't able to make some squads to run! - I used "quickly" movement modifier when issuing an order (move or attack) - "Stealth" modifier wasn't active - Units weren't tired - Movement vector is shown grey or changes from blue to grey after a short period of time - No enemy contact, but it can happen even when there is - I believe this occured or is happening more after the latest patch (december 2011 beta 5 or december 2011), but I'm not sure.
Any idea what's going on? What does it mean when movement vector is grey instead of blue? When does it change from blue to grey? Tired of the game comes in two types, one type is "shortness of breath", when the blue line is changed to gray, for example, if you're lets for soldiers to fast motion in the winter in deep snow (plow or swamp) . The second integral fatigue that appears on the interface. Remember that soldiers carry ammunition and weapons, and will not run fast in the snow and generally in the frost Try to walk by the roads.

Hi Andrey,
is it possible to use abandoned non-damaged anti-tank guns or machine-guns by another squad? I haven´t figured it out.
Thanks

Thanks Not so far. It's not very realistic for most weapons. In those days, even a car to drive, few know how, not that no preparation to fire from an unknown weapon. We considered that a realistic use cases are extremely rare (eg, two identical guns, one is broken, and the other drove the crew) and a feature has been thrown out of the development.

but i should go back into the force pool if operational. If it remain on your territory after the battle, and there is at least one not wounded (and live) crew member, and no fatal destructions, it remain in service. And I want to argue that if even one of these three rules are not met, the probability that weapons will be involved in further battles (from 1-2 days) tends to zero

This is good "news"! Then I would like to propose that you add a spesific walking animation for soldiers that are tired or out of breath. It's not important for a simulation, but pretty important for a game. Looks visually good and gives clear feedback to player. And now that I mentioned this, it would also be nice to see a new walking animation for soldiers that are cautious/alert, i.e. walking/sneaking during a fight when they have seen enemies nearby (similiar to Combat Misson "hunt"-movement) instead of normal relaxed walking. Again, not very important for a simulation, but visually informative about infantry behaviour. Also, I've observed that when soldiers shoot from kneeled stance, they drop to the ground (go prone) too fast - a slight delay here would be good.

Yes it in far plans (now we don't have animators). And now that I mentioned this, it would also be nice to see a new walking animation for soldiers that are cautious/alert, i.e. walking/sneaking
It's present - run under fire

Problems with time compression
I am having som problems with time compression after patching. The problem started with the december beta patch. During normal gameplay the time windows says something like: 1 (0.8) which means that game is achtually running at 0.8 speed. During combat time is slowed down further: 1 (0.5) which means that it is actually running at half speed. The time compression buttons do not affect anything. Putting time at 6x the speed actually gives: 6 (0.8) in the time window and game is still running at 0.8 speed. I have not tried reinstalling yet which is my next option but I would like to know if anyone else has seen this?
A(B) - need game speed ( actual game speed ) B is validated by game from your system specs, unit count in battle and others. In options you also can uncheck auto validation settings. And take speed control like in previous versions (without auto validation) but lags with interfaces is possible in hi speeds.

Hi Andrey,
I would like to add that when I play the game I do not feel devastating effects of tanks and weapons. I thought It is because weapons' fire affects and explosions are not good. I really believe these need to be improved. I think that they are devastating too much

I suspect that my old system is kind of in the low end of system specs.

I really believe these need to be improved. I think that they are devastating too much I believe they got it pretty close to reality (though it's very difficult to say how it should be). Of course there's not as much cover for infantry as in reality and infantry don't use cover as effectively in the game. On the contrary it seems that rifle/mg bullets cannot penetrate trees in the game, but I'm not sure (they might penetrate fences and house walls). Need to look things closer. I meant visually. I agree game physics are very good but animation and visual effects regarding the weapons and weapon damage need to be improved.
