I notied some A10's at my base were sitting on th etarmac with all the panels opened for inspection. I watch my plane get repaired at the base and it gets levitated up a few feet. All these panels open and close and the plane is lowered back to the ground. Is there any way to open thes panels on the plane manually?

I'd like to know that as well. And LOL at the levitation part, but I do understand why ED had to do it. At least now we can open/close the boarding ladder.

You can manually extend the ladder, but that's about it. You WILL have to ask your ground crew to put it back, though.

On your 6 o'clock, messing wit...
No there is not a "manual" way of opening those panels. They only open for repairs.

Wow that's amazing detail! I had no idea the panels would do that in-game (which kind of tells you how much I land successfully lol).

What if they could just get rid of the menu (or at least have an option) and just have your pilot walk/drive around in-game to the various buildings pre/post flight. Then you could physically walk/drive to the briefing room, barracks, and the tarmac to do a "visual" inspection! I think it would be kinda neat anyways

The "levitation" is simulating the aircraft on jacks...that being said it would be sweet if the jacks appeared when she was "levitated".

+1

I'd like to see ground crew figures and equipment, too, when refueling and rearming.
