It would get pretty intense in BF2. Especially when both teams were in that main strip. Karkand was my second favorite map. My favorite was Wake Island. I haven't had much time to play BF3 and it's annoying. So far, I am at 4 hours played. I should get some play time on Friday finally. I am off work and no plans.

I should’ve mentioned that this was a graphical comparison only. I picked a pretty lame vid of BF2 but it shows the graphics of it’s time.

The second vid is completely overblown. DICE really likes to over-hype the action in their trailers.

If you’d ask me today if I wanted to play BF2 or BF3, I’d have to think about it ...

I'd have to think about it too.........for about 0.0000005387 seconds. I like BF3 better.

BF2 has a special place in my heart, but it would be tough going back to it after BF3.

Another comparison Karkand BF2 to BF3:

I think I prefer the BF3 color palette.

PS. That guy's other BF3 videos (sniper shotgun) are pretty hilarious if you don't mind the profanity and scandinavian accent hehe.

Me too.....the perfect match would be graphics and audio from BF3 but the gameplay and maps from BF2. I miss the Commander toys and related strategy for the SF class to cause havoc behind enemy lines.
