Followed the patching to .85f2 did the no-cd thing and voila, runs perfectly, great to have it back on the system.
I must be doing something wrong with the -nointro switch stuff because i can't get this to work for me. Can anyone explain step-by-step for me what to do here, I'm doing something wrong.

I've opened properties on the shortcut, added -nointro to the command line and no dice.

Just open the file "bdg.txt" in the mig alley folder and switch off the intro:
