OV-1 Mowhawk

FS2004 has a C-119 Boxcar

How about an ultra detailed B-2 bomber with fully functioning everything and the ability to get out of your seat and walk back to your cot for the long missions and look and walk around in a third person point of view watching your buddy doing the flying. Therefore also having a fully animated copilot/weapons officer that you could interact with.

OV-1 MOWHAWK! That's right and thxs Coot.
I used to see them fly in to the bombing range in Ft.Bragg,NC.As a child I always had my head turned toward the sky always searching the horizon for the next aircraft that came over it.Huey Hogs all day long and Cobras too.Phantoms punching holes in the sound barrier was a regular thing.A-7E'S,A-1O'S,C-130'S MAC,C-141B'S SAC & ETC.!82ND Airborne is based there and saw the Golden Knights as well.Raeford,NC.was where I was raised up til 9yrs old.I never forget those planes and helos that graced the sky there.
So ya see,I gotta get the fix.Fly every know military aircraft there is in a combat flight sim and ask for more.......

I wish I could have seen A-7s in flight. I like that plane and would love to see one in flight. This last airshow I went to they actually had an F-104 which was totally unexpected and I never dreamed that I would see one fly. It was truly awsome!

I've never had the pleasure of seeing the "manned missle" in flight.Only some old photos and video of Chuck Yeager when he did.Like all aircraft he checked out in,he stood the starfighter on it's nose stalls out around or close to 60,000ft and had one hellish ride trying to recover. But,that's just Gen.Chuck Yeager setting records for how many times he can get his butt in a sling and manage to keep a career as a test pilot.Yep,he's my hero.Of course i'm gonna root him on.You see,he's from the same place i was born....W.VA.

Give me an A10 sim along the lines of Falcon 4.0, Jane's F15, or F4:AF and I'll be happy.

DID's "Tornado" from back in the 486 days was a really good one, and I don't think there's been a Tornado sim since.

NH2112, have you given thought to Lock On? Though it is not a one airplane sim, they do have the A-10. Not as complicated as Falcon but certainly not as easy as Stike Fighters and that line of games (I love them however). It looks nice and is still pretty involved and challenging.

Everything I've read about LOMAC said that the flight model isn't accurate for the A10. I guess I've had enough bad experiences with the other A10 sims I've flown (A10 Cuba, A10 Silent Thunder) that I'd just as soon leave it alone if it's not as close to perfection as humanly possible.

Well the Lock On A-10 model far surpasses those in A-10 Cuba and Silent Thunder. It's certainly more of a challenge to fly than those games as they're pretty old now. Plus if you want a real challenge, get Lock On Flaming Cliffs just for the SU-25 Frogfoot. You'll have plenty of work on your hands trying to learn how to fly that bird and how they modeled it well. It's very hard to fly and is a chore just managing things as you fly. If you don't land PERFECTLY, you will pop tires and damage gear and worse. Fun plane but hard.

Ditto on COOTS advise.WOE is alot of fun with the A-1O but,LOMAC Flaming Cliffs is a close to hardcore sim. It's gonna keep ya busy!
Keeping to the Wishlist:Northrop A-9A,it was beaten out by the A-10 but,a great attack plane nontheless.

How about a Skunk Works sim. Have blackbirds, F-117s and B-2s, all detailed and interactive like our afformentioned B-2 Hotel . You train out of Area 51 and other desert locals doing cool stuff and then getting to take those birds out as you learn to fly them on real missions.

Hey Hillbilly, do you have a picture of the A-9? I'd like to see it. Sounds cool.

I've got no pics on the A-9A but,the internet has "alot" and where can find the only 2 that survived, others were scraped.I know one's at Castle Airbase in California and the other is somewhere in Arizona. But,it didn't lose by much.Goto keywords and type Norhtrop A-9A.Got good pics there along with info.It looks like an A-6 redesign with single seat,30mm and as many stores for weapons as the A-10 had to offer.

Well, Janes ATF had many Skunk works planes, like the B2, F35, F117, F22, the x-31 thrust vector plane nad the x-29! with forward swept wings.
THe game also had many videos about flight maneuvers with thrust vectoring etc.
Was resource eating like hell at that time. \:\)

Link to info about the game

The VTOL models in x-plane are really worth a try.

Yep I know that game! I had most all of Jane's stuff. I miss em. \:\(

Yeah I used to love to watch the SU-35? video(I think it was that one)and watch it do its crazy maneuvers where it would pull hard and basically stop in mid air!

You can get the x31 maneuvers from the NASA site, too.

I loved flying that X-31 in ATF with its nose pointed at a sharp, downward angle, but at the same time flying straight and level right off the deck.

That was fun.

Aside from the Viggen of course.
