About 10 years ago, I bought a nifty joystick stand for roughly $10. It was a styrene "I" upon the top you velcro'ed the stick and your thighs sat on top of the bottom giving you the stick where it belongs, unless you are in a F-16.

It was also small enough to easily go under the table.

Since it was sytrene, it did not last. Had it been metal with some ribbing, it would still be in use.

I have made a floor mount stand for the stick with plumbing hardware, but it is large and in the way.

Does anyone know of an available product like that old "I" piece.

Hmmm...well, I chose the inelegant approach. I clamped a stick, a trackball and a plywood-backed flexible keyboard to an old drum stool. It's ugly, but it's stable and comfortable.

Anything can happen on the way to Leidsdorp.

Maybe another option is to use adjustable speaker stands. I have a set that actually works pretty good for this purpose. I can't remember the name of the set but they have a slant in them that works great for placing a joystick between your legs.

Good Luck,

Charles
