I have an old system but it actually plays quite well when I am in the game, I can't complain.

But It takes about 5 minutes to get into the game if it starts first time, usually not. Then I have to select weapon and gadgets etc another couple of minutes, I hate having to click on all the menus and sub menus to get what I want.

I went back and played BC2 and was on a server less than 1 minute including the loadout. BC2 load out screen is so much better, everything there visually on the screen, no searching for items.

It is a real hassle starting up this game.

Its definitely a resource hog you gotta have the right rig for sure ........but it is IMHO a zen experience on a good gaming box. I recomend buyin more ram(6/8 gigs) and at least win 7 64 bit BF3 uses almost 2 gigs just to run, load times will be much better...........

I agree the interface is "clunky", and takes incredibly too many clicks to just select your kit. Hell, just to get in the game from starting battlelog takes upwards of 5 clicks just to start the freakin game. Whenever my roommates and me try to get on a server we end up spending 10-15 minutes just to get playing

But once you get in the game then you can finally enjoy the game lol

Just think of it as you're at your base actually equipping and putting on your changed gear. At least that helps me contain my nerdrage at the clunkiness of changing accessories.
