I have always liked Sean Connery's version of Robin Hood in "Robin and Marion".

Another one for Russell Crowe.

While I like the more silly Robins (especially Disney's version), that film was actually historically plausible enough that I liked it a lot. Plus, it didn't try to tell the entire legend all in one go, so it didn't feel all packed-in or whatnot. A very well-made film, especially the directors' cut.

Agreed on Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" being a very good film. Scott has a knack for making great historically-themed films like Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven.
