If you are not familiar with Mike or know what he is trying to do for American workers check out his statement to Congress.

Funny, I framed for 10 years of my life after the service and now I am a desktop support person, I might get a pinched thumb when I put on a computer case, lol. I have to say I miss the hard work, it was good honest work. I agree with Mike, we need to pay more attention to the skilled trades, they seem to be fading fast.

A truism "liberals, who believe that everyone should categorically agree with them because their theoretical positions are "a higher truth" than the positions of any person out there living in and interacting with the real world."

I thought there will be a link of him here singing. The man can sing! He once did the national anthem and it was not half bad.

I would hope so considering he sang professionally for the Baltimore Opera before starting into TV.

I do agree that man can sing.

People who think they know everything are very annoying to those of us who do.

Mike's father was my teacher in 7th-9th grades. My brother appeared in 2 commercials with Mike, for a local drug store chain. He said that Mike was down to earth, funny and supportive of all the people on the set. He does not have an ego!

He is one of my favourite TV show hosts. No, scratch that, he's one of my all-time TV personalities. What you say about him not having an ego is exactly why he's my favourite smile

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!
