Same here. I miss him.

I hadn't known him as long as you two but he was definitely a presence on the forums. One that is deeply missed by me too.

I'm hoping very much, that he'll be back some day.

He may only be 20mm, but the gulf left behind with his absence is miles.

Well said. I hope he fully recovers and comes back here soon. Without 20mm it's just not the same.

He is a generally all-round good guy. I miss his presence here a lot. A real lot.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

This.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Couldn't have said it better. Tom was a huge part of the enjoyment of visiting here.

I would always read one of his gardening stories. In fact, reciting them out loud to my wife would usually result in my being exempted from gardening duty when I'd remark, "What a great idea...flamethrowers for weeding..."

His sense of humor and wry observations of everything from the grocery store to the neighbors are missed. It was always entertaining to talk to him on TeamSpeak with other staff members because you could really get a sense of Tom's enthusiasm for the site. He loved SimHQ..and I think we all know that love is returned 1000-fold. I hope he is getting better.

Chris
