Was flying around Seattle and at the base of the Space Needle I noticed something which looked like someone had sneezed. After doing a bit of Googling I found out it's a building called the Experimental Music project:

What an ugly building! I certainly hope it serves some worthwhile purpose inside?

It houses a very nice Rock and Roll museum, as well as a nice science fiction museum, built with Pail Allen's Microsoft money

Did anyone else click this expecting a link to a news story about an Electro-Magnetic Pulse being detonated in Seattle? lol

And yea, that's pretty ugly. I'm fine with expressive art, but that looks to be a mighty expensive building for that much "art."

It looks quite nice walking around it, which is probably the idea.

There's no way that pic can be from Seattle. There's sunlight reflecting off of the building! wink

Are the buildings destructable? Please say yes.

I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

Seattle is my home mates and yes, many of us are as embarrassed by that abomination as you would expect. However, as horrific as that design is, the Rock and Roll museum inside, as well as the Sci-Fi museum is impressive indeed.

If you are a fan of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and the like, right up to contemporary stuff, or would like to hop in a mini-studio and create your own jams than this place is worth checking out.

Plus, for the spandex-wearing, rubber-ear donning crowd, the sci-fi collection is amazing. From Giger's Aliens to Lost in Space to Star Trek, they've got it all.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." -- Ephesians 6: 12-13 KJV

I've never been there either, even though just about every family member that's been up to visit from California has.

For a while, they had every Battlestar Galactica Viper on display, from the original and new series'. I really want to go, maybe in January!
