so now that my thread is gone how am i supposed to use it as reference with the possible fixes that the one user posted if it dosent even exist anymore....
second people were falsely accusing me of making threats....please tell me your name and address so i can personally sue you...i was not making threats...a threat is expressing your intentions to do something...i did not do this...yea others falsely accuse me of a crime, yet IM THE BAD GUY for simply expression my opinion...wow...you people need to get a clue...go learn about freedom....get some personal responsibility....
Some advice:
1. Seriously take the advice to calm down - OK? You really do understand why you where banned at the 1C forums and why you are close to getting banned here now?
2. Some hints to get your game running in order if they don't work:
* First try to delete all files in the cache folder - "\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache" (including the "shaders" sub folder).
* Try starting the game from the "Launcher.exe" file in "<steam install path>\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" directly instead of starting it from "inside" Steam. Steam has to be running in the background though!
* Right click the Cliffs of Dover entry in the Steam library and select "properties". Then "Local files" tab->"Verify integrity of game cache". This will make sure you have all the correct files for the latest official patch of the game.
* Uninstall the game completely (right click title in Steam library and select "Delete local content", then delete the "\Documents1C Softclub" directory. Maybe save the "confuser.ini" file... Then select install game again to get a "clean" copy.
